About

About Me

Hi, my name is Adrian, thank you for taking the time to read my website, feel free to have a look around to see if what I can offer you as a therapist is what you feel you need as a client. I originate from a small close-knit town in the North West of England, where I am still a resident to this day. I have been raised within a single female parent environment since my primary school years, this has made me grateful for the values, strength, and respect this has given me as the person I am today. I am a positive and enthusiastic people person with a warm, caring and friendly personality who loves the job that I do.

I studied my initial Counselling training at St Helens College by completing qualifications in Counselling Concepts and Counselling Skills. I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University as a fully qualified Counsellor & Psychotherapist who uses an integrative approach to therapy. I use Person-Centred Experiential Therapy as my main therapeutic approach with you the client being central to the therapeutic process with what you bring to sessions being validated, not-judged and accepted. Alongside the Person-Centred approach I use elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) that is personalised to you the client to help you change behaviours, increase happiness, and overcome current problems you are facing in your life, whilst working to your desired goals. The therapy offered can be short or long-term with you the client being in control of the amount of sessions you have.

I have personally received therapy in the past with regards to grief and bereavement, and work related pressures that impacted my identity with how I looked at self and others around me. My personal experience of therapy inspired my personal growth, and led me to become the therapeutic professional I am today - it has been a truly life changing experience and it has taught me - "It's ok to admit when life is difficult, don't bottle your feelings up, don't suffer in silence and it's ok to ask for help".

Face to Face Therapy
Outdoor Therapy
Online/Phone Therapy

Face to Face therapy is a 60-minute session for you to share your feelings, thoughts and lived experiences in a safe Person-Centred environment. Face to Face therapy is popular for people who prefer human interaction in a physical form in a safe and comfortable place that is away from their home environment.

Outdoor therapy is a 60-minute session that uses the same method of therapy as Face to Face for you to share your feelings, thoughts and lived experiences. Instead of using a therapy room therapy takes place in the outdoors using many different places/routes of nature around the Eccleston area of St Helens.

Online/Phone therapy is a 60-minute session that uses the same method of therapy as Face to Face for you to share your feelings, thoughts and lived experiences. Online/Phone therapy uses a secure video/phone platform, were you choose the comfort of your own home or safe location using your laptop or mobile phone/tablet.
